Shanghai Intern Joe from Canada

b2ap3_thumbnail_Untitled.png Joe F. recently landed in China, let's see what he thinks about his new internship adventure! I am from Vancouver but I also grew up in Calgary, Canada. Vancouver possesses an allencompassing geography ranging from mountainous terrain to sandy beaches thus providing an enriching active lifestyle. Growing up in Calgary was fantastic due to the huge amount of snowfall you get during a prolonged winter season and good old quality Alberta beef! I am 25 years young turning 26 end of this year. Something interesting I’ve done so far is being fortunate enough to have traveled to various places in North America and China such as: Seattle, L.A., Chicago, Toronto, Shanghai, Nanjing, and more. I still intend to tackle Europe in the coming years. I studied at Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Communications, Arts & Technology. (FCAT). Hary Brun’s Shanghai Internship Experience

Hary Bruns recently finished up his Shanghai internship with Gi2C Group and talked with us during an exit interview of his experience. Hi Hary, we're excited to hear how your time in China went! Let's jump right in. What were your job responsibilities during your internship? I was in charge of the marketing and sales procedures for the German market. Overall, what did you learn during your internship? I learned to adapt myself to the local culture. I needed to understand how different people think and act based on their own...

Shanghai interns’ Huangpu outing: Tianzi Fang on Taikang Lu

b2ap3_thumbnail_image001_20140527-050952_1.jpg Tianzi Fang is a walking and shopping area filled with edgy marketing and design studios, gorgeous fashion and interior outlets and established artists of all varieties. There are also some great restaurants, cafes and bars to sustain this hungry creative bunch and the curious who walk around this local Shanghai hangout. The area was originally a residential and factory zone and is now home to Shanghai’s trendsetters. The architecture is breathtaking, the shops filled with novelties, the food is delicious and the people you’ll find out and about are as diverse as the shops within. It’s a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy the mix of old with new. Our Shanghai interns found it to be “a very interesting place to visit filled with character”. Most likely they’ll be back on their own to spend some more time in this eclectic part of town.
