Gi2C Business Event: Gi2C Interns In China to Receive a Lecture by EIBENS Consulting

b2ap3_thumbnail_Pablo-LIAA.jpg Pablo Recio Gracia, Managing Director, EIBENS Beijing Consulting On Thursday, May 28th, Gi2C Group and EIBENS Beijing Consulting will welcome current foreign interns in China to join a business lecture at Gi2C HQ. The Gi2C guest speaker this upcoming Thursday will be Pablo Recio Gracia, an expert in the Food & Beverage industry, with a special focus on consulting for imports, distribution processes and trade barriers.  Pablo's background: A Bachelor in Business from the University of Granada and a Masters in Quality Management and Business Internationalization Pablo has been living and working in China since 2005, and in his career, he has successfully supervised more than 50 interns. His experience includes working for public agencies including ICEX (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) and Extenda (Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia) as well as private companies such as GoldMillenium Group. Currently, he is Managing Director of a new enterprise called EIBENS Beijing Consulting. Pablo will be sharing his professional expertise and personal experiences....

A business lecture from LehmanBrown to Gi2C Interns, post release

b2ap3_thumbnail_WO_02_2015_Apr_7_BJ_Lecture_KiranPatel_01.JPG Last Thursday, April 30, 2015, a group of Gi2C interns had the opportunity to listen to a business lecture from LehmanBrown Director, Kiran Patel. Mr. Patel explained some background about China's economy and provided data and analysis about the current market situation. He also shed some light on the numerous factors one needs to consider before starting a business in China and the legal and monetary requirements to do so. Doing business in China is difficult and risky. Mr. Patel touched on a few areas that are common problems for foreigners conducting business transactions in China. He also explained a little about the Chinese accounting and tax systems which is a complex subject. As with any business, knowing the labor laws in your country is crucial to operating a legal company. Mr. Patel explained the basics about Chinese labor laws and the differences involved when hiring locals and hiring foreigners....

Alena Kozina’s Review on her internship with Gi2C Group

She will be interning in a Beijing company dealing with financial tools, stocks, and asset management. Alena is originally from Vladivostok, Russia and at the young age of 23, she already holds degrees from schools in Russia, Ireland and most recently a master’s degree from the prestigious Renmin University in Beijing, China. Alena is not sure what exactly she’ll be doing day to day at her new internship in Beijing but is looking forward to staying longer in China.
