"I am 24 years old and grew up in Villers-Perwin, Belgium. Arthur Grumiaux (a famous violinist) was born in my city.

I studied Public Relations at HELHa in Fleurus and will be interning in Shanghai.

From what I've heard, my job will be to build up a large network here with high level company managers and establish good relationships with entrepreneurs in the local communities. I will understand the filtration industry more and know how to help with improving the quality of air and water.

I chose China to do my internship because China is one of the most powerful countries in the world. The Chinese people are at the center of the business world today. So it's the perfect place to do an internship abroad. I travel a lot so I wasn't afraid to start a new adventure in a new place.

My family didn't believe me when I told them I was moving to China and they said that I'm crazy! But after the initial shock, they were happy for me and proud of me."

We look forward to hearing an update from Pierre on how his Shanghai internship is going!
