Wish List: Letter From England

Dear GI2C,

I’m looking for an internship!

    • Preferred Duration: 6 Months
    • 1st choice: Journalism
    • 2nd Choice: Accounting / Administration
    • 3rd Choice: Media / PR / Events Management
    • English Level: Native
    • Other Languages: Spanish

I am applying for this role with Getin2China because I would like to gain experience of working abroad and work with a new team. My desired line of career is in journalism and I believe working in China can help me further my skills and abilities within the field. I am also eager to work with a new publication and develop interesting and exciting articles using my excellent and creative writing skills to attract new readers and help the publication succeed as a business. The opportunity will also give me the chance to meet new people and make contacts within the field of journalism for future employment. If I am successful in gaining a role with Getin2China, the position will help strengthen my interviewing skills as well as my article writing abilities.

Attending University has only progressed my visions of being involved with journalism, completing units such as Video Journalism and gaining 100 words per minute in shorthand, has helped develop my skills as a journalist, and increased my ability to create a professionally constructed news article or report. Joining Getin2China for experience would only develop my skills further as I am taught new experiences from world class professionals. If I am given this opportunity by Getin2China, I would not see the position as 'just an internship, it would be something I would be proud of, and something I would see as a big achievement in my life, and for the future of my career. I think a reason Getin2China should consider me for this China internship program, is because I honestly believe I could be helpful as I would be willing to do whatever I am required to do.

Thanks for the opportunity to do an internship in Beijing!

Hopeful Intern from England
